The Permanent Observatory of ADI Design, the Italian Industrial Design Association, has selected ALEENA 4.0 by Repente, for its exclusive RLS System, for publication in the ADI Design Index 2018.

The ADI Design Index 2018 collects all the products pre-selected for the Compasso d'Oro 2018 ADI award, the most prestigious recognition of the quality of the project and the excellence of Italian design. 172 products have been selected from 746, to represent the best examples of Italian design.
Aleena 4.0 is one of the covers that make up a modular system consisting of different pads and a single "RC-Base". Ultralight and comfortable (pressure map measurements show up to 38% more comfort than high-end saddles). The saddle is equipped with the patented RLS system that allows the upper portion of the saddle to be replaced with other Repente models currently available or that will be developed in the future. The lower part of the saddle thus becomes a direct extension of the support, ensuring that the position is maintained in case of replacement. Thanks to this system, it is possible to keep the saddle efficient, reducing costs and carbon waste by up to 60% at the end of the saddle's life cycle.
The ADI Exhibition, which opens in October in Milan and in November in Rome, is a summary of the surprises that the creativity of designers and manufacturers bring to our daily lives. It gives the business world, professionals and the general public a complete overview of what Made in Italy design means today.
