Repente Latus CL Saddle, a new compact for those who love a wide seat

The Selle Repente range expands with the arrival of Latus CL.
To satisfy those who prefer a wide saddle, the Venetian company has added a compact and lightweight saddle to its lineup.

The dimensions of the Repente Latus CL saddle are 240 mm x 152 mm, with a weight of only 145 grams.

The structure is made of unidirectional carbon processed in an autoclave, a procedure that maximizes the mechanical properties of the material.
The composite has been reinforced with a special Twill weave carbon fabric.
The rail has differentiated sections.

Latus CL (literally from Latin: "Wide – 150") features a flat rear support surface to offer the best support even in cases of a very pronounced distance between the ischial tuberosities.

The Repente Latus CL saddle is axially crossed by a channel, whose shape follows the bone conformation depending on the inclination of the pelvis. The anatomical channel reaches its maximum depth where it is necessary to offer the greatest relief to the perineal area.

The curvature between the wide part of the saddle and the more tapered front part has been designed to ensure maximum freedom of leg movement and avoid any friction problems on the inner thigh.

Viewed laterally, the upper profile of the saddle has a slight central depression, the purpose of which is to facilitate maintaining the most comfortable position and to contain the tendency to slide forward.

The generous Eva padding provides support all the way to the most advanced part of the front, preventing discomfort and numbness even when cycling in an aerodynamic position.
