Repente has introduced 2 new models, the Prime and Spyd

A Repente apresentou 2 novos modelos, o Prime e Spyd

Repente has introduced the Prime and Spyd models, two saddles produced with a mix of carbon and technopolymers that make them non-deformable over time.

Like the full carbon models, Aleena, Comptus and Kuma, the newly launched saddles are entirely produced in Italy. They have an ergonomic shape aimed at maximum comfort, as well as a particularly refined aesthetic.

The Repente Prime model features a wide anatomical cut-out and weighs 165 grams; the Repente Spyd weighs 175 grams and is the option for those who prefer the central channel. The recommended price for both is 196 euros.

"The problem with plastic saddles is that the shell tends to bend, with consequences for comfort, position, and sometimes the rider's own health," explains Massimo Farronato, CEO of Repente.

"We avoid this disadvantage by using properly reinforced noble polymers. The saddle structure is completely in unidirectional T700 carbon, while the main base is composed of Tepex, a carbon fiber fabric in a thermoplastic matrix. The structure offers exceptionally high resistance, along with a very low weight. We have a saddle with characteristics quite similar to an all-carbon one."

The carbon and Tepex saddles also use the patented RLS system for interchangeable covers, a technology introduced by Repente in all-carbon saddles.

The Prime and Spyd models are part of the equipment supplied by Repente to professional teams Caja Rural – RGA, Wnt Rotor and Bepink, to name a few.

After Cabda West, Repente will participate in Cabda Midwest in Chicago, where the main highlight will be a Repente revelation: a new saddle for triathlon and time trial bikes.
