Selle Repente has launched the new Latus M saddle, which features a carbon base and carbon rails, weighing 140 grams. The Latus M also has a pressure relief channel design and what Selle Repente calls a "wide but not too wide" shape.
Selle Repente may not be well known yet, but it is steadily expanding its product range. The newly launched saddles are available in a variety of widths, the Latus M with a width of 142mm, and the Latus CL with a width of 152mm, with a length of 240mm, which makes the Latus M just compliant with UCI regulations.
Both the base and rails of the saddle are made of T700 UD carbon fiber, and the padding is lightweight EVA foam with a PU coating.
The new saddle will be provided to Selle Repente's sponsored teams, namely Team Caja Rural-Seguros RGA and two Women's WorldTour teams.
The Latus M is now available for €218. Selle Repente also stated that the Latus M has been approved for both road and off-road cycling without affecting the warranty.
