The Xc Città di Popoli took place in Abruzzo. The two 10-kilometer laps did not faze Alessio Agostinelli, who led the race from the first to the last meter, taking his Repente saddle to the top step of the podium.
In Veneto, in Torreglia, on the Euganean Hills, the 7th Granfondo di Mtb Spaccapria took place, a 42-kilometer race, which saw the participation of several long-distance specialists. Among the women, it immediately became a three-way battle between Marika Tovo, Giada Specia, and the Lithuanian champion of the specialty, Katazina Sosna. Everything went well until mid-race, when Marika, due to a trivial slip, found herself on the ground and was forced to seek medical attention. The head-to-head began between our Giada and the Lithuanian, who would have to bow to the attack of the athlete from Belluno. Giada Specia reached the finish line on her KTM Scarp - Repente Prime 2.0 saddle - with more than 40 seconds advantage.
In the men's field, Mirko Tabacchi took the lead of the race alongside a small group of bikers. Halfway through the race, Mirko and Rabensteiner managed to further split the group. Rabensteiner's continuous attacks broke Mirko's resistance, who would win the silver medal, followed in 12th position by his teammate Domenico Valerio.
