Michele Pittacolo has won his sixth world gold medal. In Maniago, Friuli, he wrote a wonderful page in the 2018 Para-cycling World Championships, which he competed in with Repente's ultralight carbon saddles.
Pittacolo, who will be 48 on September 5th, thrilled his many fans and passionate supporters in a world championship race conducted with extreme intelligence. At the end of a very close competition, he beat thirteen opponents in a sprint. Silver went to Russian Pudov and bronze to Belgian Clincka. A home victory for the champion, who returned to high levels after the serious accident in March that kept him off his bike for two months.
Congratulations Pitta!
