Nova 2.0 does not use adhesives; both the base and the padding are made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), processed with two different methods to achieve the necessary rigidity in the base and the softness of the padding.
Once the rail (also recyclable) is removed, there is no need to separate materials for recycling. The use of a single material simplifies the production process to a single step. Time, costs, and environmental impact are drastically reduced.
At the end of its use, the shell and padding can be ground and reintroduced into the production cycle to be transformed into new TPU objects, thus giving a second life to the material.
Entirely produced in Italy, Nova 2.0 is versatile, has a strong aesthetic personality, and stands out for the extraordinary mechanical properties of TPU, such as shape memory and resistance to impacts, twists, and abrasion.
Comfort and ergonomics are at the heart of the project. Nova 2.0 features a wide central anatomical opening, the Close Fit ischial design to reduce pressure, and the Ergo Shape lateral form, which increases thigh movement freedom. The non-slip cover, particularly pleasant to the touch, ensures optimal control of the riding position.
