Himalayan Highest Ladakh MTB Race is the name of this international competition for MTB, unique in its kind, which in the past editions has included among the participants Gilberto Simoni, Marzio Deho and Thomas Dietsch.
The race will take place from 20 to 25 August in Ladakh (the "Little Tibet", India), on a total distance of 510 kilometers. Six stages, for a total height difference of 9,000 meters.
The route never drops below 3,200 metersof altitude, with three passes to cross over 5,300 meters. It can be considered in all respects the highest cycling race in the world.
The three best riders of the various male and female categories will be awarded, among other prizes, with the ultralight carbon saddles Aleena, Comptus and Kuma of Repente, with the patented RLS Technology for the interchangeability of the covers.
The characteristics of the route are truly unique. The sixth and final stage consists of the Kardung time trial: with its 5602 meters of altitude it is considered the highest road pass in the world.
Not a competition for everyone, with a startlist of specialists from all over the world.
