The Bosnian champion partnered by Repente dominated the UCI World Cup event in the Czech Republic

Lejla Njemčević and Repente, a partnership that started five years ago under the banner of constant growth and mutual satisfaction. The Bosnian elite biker, queen of the World Cup Marathon in Nove Mesto na Morave, has continued to improve its results in recent seasons, until last summer she reached the first position in the UCI Marathon World Ranking. A leadership that still belongs to her with 1428 points.

Lejla it is an example of dedication and professionalism. She takes care of his physique and his preparation with the meticulousness that only great athletes possess.

Born in Udine in 1994 and grown up in Sarajevo, she fell in love with mtb as a young girl and cultivated this great passion of hers by racing with teams from various countries (Turkey, Greece, Spain), without neglecting her studies: she is in fact a law graduate.  

She has been 18 times national champion and 5 times Balkan champion. In 2020 she finished eighth at the Marathon world championship in Turkey, in 2021 she obtained the silver medal in the World Cup in La Forestiere, climbing to 8th place in the world ranking. In August 2022, she took first place.

2023 has started well for her: at Andalucia Bike, in tandem with Dohrn, she finished second in the general classification and first in the final stage. The big target arrived in Nove Mesto na Morave, where Lejla literally dominated a 120km race. She crossed the line after 5 hours and 30 minutes, beating Lithuania's Katazina Sosna by 2 minutes and 46 seconds and Switzerland's Irina Luetzelschwab by 3 minutes and 31 seconds.

In this path of continuous growth, Lejla has chosen to rely on Repente.
