The anatomical shape of the rear part and the perineal pressure relief channel are designed to prevent numbness and pain that can arise after many hours of cycling, particularly on uneven terrain.
Another feature of Artax is the squared shape of the nose padding, which ensures better support during advanced pedaling.
One of the problems that can occur with a wider than traditional saddle is that the saddle size can hinder the free movement of the hip joint and the inner leg muscles, reducing comfort and pedaling effectiveness. We have overcome this drawback by shaping the saddle to offer all the necessary support without creating any impediment to pedaling.
We have smoothed the contours of the saddle with the meticulousness of a craftsman, leaving only what is strictly necessary and functional for comfort and performance.
The padding is made of EVA, a lightweight material with high technical properties, thickened in the most delicate support points to maximize comfort even on rough terrain, both for those who prefer a more upright sitting position and for those who often use the lower part of the handlebars.
For the saddle cover, a non-slip material developed by Repente was chosen, which is resistant and pleasant to the touch, and does not lose its effectiveness when wet.
