The anatomical shape of the rear section and the channel for relieving perineal pressure, designed to prevent numbness and pain on uneven terrain, are two key features of Artax. Another characteristic shared by both GL and GLM is the squared shape of the front padding, which ensures better support while pedaling in a forward position.

ERGO SHAPE. One of the problems that can occur with a width greater than the traditional one is that the size of the saddle may interfere with the inner leg muscles, reducing comfort and pedaling efficiency. We have overcome this inconvenience by shaping the saddle on the basis of in-depth anatomical and biomechanical research, ensuring that Artax GLM can offer all the necessary support without creating any hindrance to pedaling. We have refined the contours of the saddle with the meticulous care of a craftsman, leaving only what is strictly necessary and functional for comfort and performance.

The proprietary RLS system, a Repente hallmark, makes it possible to easily replace the top of the saddle without changing the supporting structure. The double shell offers the advantage, more valuable than ever in gravel riding, of better absorption of the vertical vibrations transmitted from the ground.

The rail with differentiated sections is made of UD carbon fiber. The shell is built using LCF (Long Carbon Fibers) technology, which makes the saddle appropriately stiff and keeps it from deforming over time.

The padding is made of EVA, a lightweight material with high technical properties, thickened at the most delicate support points to maximize comfort even on rough terrain, both for those who prefer a more upright seated position and for those who often use the lower part of the handlebar.

For the saddle cover, a non-slip material developed by Repente was chosen, resistant and pleasant to the touch, which does not lose its effectiveness when wet.
