Michele Pittacolo has won his sixth gold medal at the World Championships. In Maniago, Friuli, he wrote a marvelous page of the 2018 Para-Cycling World Championships, which he competed in with ultralight carbon Repente saddles.
Pittacolo, who will be 48 on September 5, thrilled his many fans, riding with extreme intelligence. At the end of a very tough race, he beat thirteen opponents in the sprint. Silver went to Russia's Pudov and bronze to Belgium's Clincka. A home success for the champion, back at the highest level after the serious accident in March that kept him off his bike for two months.
Congratulations Pitta!
