Lejla Njemčević won the UCI Marathon World Cup

Her big goal has been achieved, Lejla Njemčević won the UCI Mtb Marathon World Cup 2023. In four races our biker collected 800 points, second place went to the German Bettina Janas, who accumulated 520 points, while the Lithuanian Katazina Sosna finished in third place with 500 points.

Lejla has achieved the first place in the Czech Republic, the second in Italy and France and the fourth in the final race in Snowshoe, United States. Thanks to this sequence of brilliant results, Lejla managed to win the XCM World Cup, giving another great showcase to Repente, which for several years has been the saddle brand chosen by the Bosnia Herzegovina champion. A relationship of collaboration and trust, the one established between Repente and Lejla Njemčević, which saw us both give our best to grow and achieve ever more resounding goals.

Among other results this year: 4th at the World Championship in Glasgow, 5th at the European Championship, 1st in the National Championship and Mtb Croatia Cup.

Born in Udine in 1994 and grown up in Sarajevo, she fell in love with mountain bike as a young girl and has cultivated this great passion by joining teams from various countries (Turkey, Greece, Spain), without neglecting her studies, in fact she has got a degree in law.
She has been 18 times national champion and 5 times Balkan champion.

The full carbon Comptus saddle, among the first designed by Repente, was his first saddle, now alternated with Artax GL and Spyd 3.0, two saddles that feature the LCF technology for the reinforcement of the shell with long carbon fibres.
