The people behind Repente, however, are NOT new to the saddle market. The founders come from a renowned Italian saddle brand. After much study and research, they have arrived at Repente's current offering. What makes these saddles unique is their modular system. The different covers can be replaced without the need to disassemble the saddle. But, according to Rutteman, they also excel in weight and comfort. Rutteman saw the distribution and sale of Repente saddles as a complement to other Italian brands they carry, such as the Italian Vittoria wheels, which they distribute exclusively.
